AIRTIME-Manager Unveils Wireless Telephone Cost Recovery
Silver Spring, MD. – (Business Wire) – February 21, 2006 - AIRTIME-Manager® today introduced a telephone call accounting module into its mobile productivity suite. The new service, available now as a standalone product, recovers airtime charges associated with BlackBerry and Treo service plans.
“This is the next logical step toward providing end-to-end time and expense capture on PDAs and smartphones,” according to Airtime CEO Jerry Fenzel. “Keep an eye on us for more innovations of this type in the coming weeks and months.”
“Like all else we’ve done so far, the cost recovery module is client-driven,” according to Gary Kurtis, SVP of Sales. “A number of firms we’re working with on mobile time capture are also looking for mobile cost recovery and have not been able to find it elsewhere in the market. It’s a logical extension of what we’re already doing and in fact has great potential as a separate product.”
Like other Airtime offerings, the cost recovery service is primarily hosted, facilitating quick rollouts and removing many of the barriers to entry typical to many enterprise software products. Designed with law firms and others in the professional service arena, robust integration to a firm’s accounting system is provided as part of the base subscription. Free trials are available to qualified users.
